WHAT'S ON
COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD

The Cable Channel 29 Community Bulletin Board is a free service that provides text-based public service announcements (PSAs) to nonprofit organizations and citizens in San Francisco. It airs on weekdays from 10-10:30 a.m., from 3:30-4 p.m., and during extended station breaks. As a continuing service, the Bulletin Board provides one important way that local organizations can use cable television to expand public awareness of programs, extend the reach of services, and target specific constituencies. Annually, over 200 nonprofits submit PSAs to the Bulletin Board.

Monthly Outreach Model
The Cable Channel 29 Community Bulletin Board is anchored by a monthly outreach model that supports year round efforts to engage local nonprofits with the unique marketing prospects that come with this free service. The station implements (4) areas of targeted & thematic email outreach per month to relevant agencies and contacts:

Community Health Information - SF Districts & Neighborhoods - Local Focus - Events Spotlight -

Submissions that result from Access SF's monthly outreach will be considered fast breaking & priority items. Nonprofits are encouraged to track Access SF's categories, and, in turn, we welcome your input on calendar updates. Our goal is for this service to grow into an interactive and uniquely San Francisco program that reflects the diversity and vitality of the nonprofit community.
