The City and County of San Francisco has announced (4) more cable franchise renewal Community Needs Assessment meetings. Your attendance at one of these meetings is critically important to the future health & stability of community media and public access television in San Francisco.

We strongly encourage you to attend at least one of these meetings to tell the City what local resources you want out of a renewed cable franchise with Comcast, including on-going, sustainable operations and capital support for your public access channel and facilities.

- The City's community meetings are being hosted by an outside consultant in order to hear from local citizens & nonprofit organizations directly about the future of cable and related digital technologies in San Francisco.

- These meetings are the only opportunity that San Franciscans will have to provide public input on the City's future cable-related needs prior to closed-door negotiations between the City & Comcast later this year.
