At Access SF, participants who are a senior, disabled person, full-time student or low-income resident can qualify for the station's Commmunity Service and Exchange Program that helps to offset the fees for membership and workshops. Eder Garcia was a youth intern at the station during 2005 through an Converse International School of Languages based in downtown San Francisco. Eder came to the station from Barcelona, and during his tenure he worked actively on in-house productions such as the Cable Channel 29 Youth Media Festival as well as numerous Spanish language translation projects.
