MEDIA PRODUCTION
WORKSHOPS

Access SF workshops and training programs are offered throughout the calendar year and are open to everyone. Prior to enrolling, participants must attend a free (2) hour orientation. The fee for workshops ranges from $65 - $85 dollars. Reservations normally open on a quarterly basis.

If you are a student, senior, disabled or a low-income resident, you can qualify for Access SF's Community Service & Exchange Program as a way of off setting the fees associated with Access SF workshops.

Class size is generally small. Teaching and curriculum emphasize media literacy, hands-on access to equipment, safety, best practices, and helping producers to realize their creative vision.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
Access SF offers (4) main areas of certification training as well as master classes on special topics for advanced producers.

Main TV Studio Production

Flash Studio Production
Field Production
Editing & Post-Production

Training in each area involves 12-15 hours of time, normally scheduled on week nights and Saturdays. Once certified in a particular area, producers gain access to the station's equipment and resources associated with that area.
