In 2005, Access SF purchased a specially designed Mobile Access Studio (MAS), a $70K field equipment package that allows for 4-camera, live-to-tape switchable production on location. Following great success using this new equipment for ELECTION 2005, our ongoing series collaboration with the League of Women Voters SF, Access SF is launching the MAS Training & Production Program. This new opportunity will involve intensive training in field production for television that will expose participants to all aspects of Access SF's Mobile Access Studio, resulting in actual production experience at designated venues around San Francisco.
The MAS Training & Production Program will provide unique programming for Cable Channel 29. Access SF will be working with local nonprofits to develop community coverage opportunities that include arts & culture events, performance, public speakers and lecture presentations, community forums, neighborhood meetings and local election coverage.
